The history on this place has been covered so well by others on here so i shant bore you all..We were in the area so thought it rude not to have a little splore around her..after the episode at denbigh i braced my self...however we had no need too at all..shes tucked nicely away up a windey track amongst the woods..while i was walking aound i wished i had seen her in all her glory she must of been a magnificent building..but i wasnt dissapointed at all. still very much worth doing if nothing but to see the fantastic staircase..

Where was that room in the roof with the bath Kitty? We didn't see that. Is there any sign of them making the place a bit more secure and a bit more water tight yet?

I wish I'd had my wangle when we visited because I couldn't capture the stairs properly.

That painiting was not on the wall when we went, it was in a supermarket bag on a table. I think it's an artist's rendition of what the houses will look like when they build them there.

the room with the bath in is the old OT department which is the building beside it next to the chimney,.and no shes in a poor state...so sad

and after denbigh a walk in the park literally..she was a lovely wander in the day felt really nice and peaceful..so we returned after dark and lasted til about midnite! totally different feel.

Ah big thumbs up to you for the bit of info you gave me on here..il edit the top forgot to when i did it...we did it in the day they went back at about half eight and lasted til about half twelve! ill pm you :lol:
